There is no excuse for it

You lie when you say

Voting in November will change none of that!
Suppression of racist, right-wing extremism will handle

But even if you know the impact
You underestimate the devastation
As you do all things
When you grow up being told
You are less than every white man

I literally have lived in caves!
Laws mean nothing for Black women

How many Black female rape cases are prosecuted?
What about Black female murder victims?
No one looks for us when we’re missing
No one looks for our kids when the get kidnapped
They are simply reported as runaways
When we are trafficked
We are called whores
Everyone turns their back to us
And say we deserve it
We should learn
To keep our legs closed
We did it to ourselves
We wanted it
We are cursed
We did something to deserve it
God knows we deserve it
That’s why it’s happening
We did something in a past life
To deserve it
It’s our karma
We’re just demonic
Satanic
When you grow up being fed that
It has an effect
Not the kind that makes you kill protestors
Or storm The Capital
But the kind that makes you take a stand
You learn that life is fleeting
That people are superficial
That consumerism is enslavement
That The West is a false matrix
Designed to keep people trapped
To feed the greedy beast at the top
Of the pyramid scheme
If you fail to follow the false lead
You’re outcast
That’s how we get treated

Manage to live on each day
Not killing, trafficking, stalking, preying
Spreading hatred

Heal
Make mistakes
Pick ourselves up
Keep on moving

HOW IS IT THAT WE
CAN LIVE THROUGH ALL THIS
AND NOT DESTROY CIVILIZATION?

Commodities
Machines
Slaves

We don’t “matter”
