America Promises To Pursue Human Rights — For Who?
The United States promised United Nations that it would uphold human rights. But Black people are still treated like sub-humans. We have no protections, and President Joe Biden continues to ignore every cry for help from our community as though we don’t exist. As Progressive Caucus try to fight for the rights of every marginalized population in America, all three branches of government continue to block every attempt to protect us from harm. The only time we garner attention is when someone wants to scapegoat a crime that was committed by the elite and they need someone to blame.
When asked about human rights protections, the president said “vote”. But our rights have been either obstructed, purged, gerrymandered or illegally removed in various ways. So he knew well that wasn't’ going to help, but why do we have to wait to have our humanity recognized? We are dying, at apocalyptic rates. So much so that we can’t even access accurate data on the losses we are sustaining. This was true BERFORE COVID and only compounded with the last administration as well as the pandemic and insurgency. The government is literally allowing an active insurgency to thrive and eradicate U.S. citizens, but this isn’t seen as population control? Amnesty International
The results of all these activities are still scapegoated onto our community. There is never accountability, and never any justice. But we are told that “systemic oppression is fake”. As long as the focus is somewhere else, no one has to address what is happening here at home. As long as insurgents are running free, they will continue to appear as the majority and our community suffers as a result. As long as human life continues to be politicized as propaganda for the elite, we continue to suffer and die in mass.
The voices of Black America continue to be silenced about what we are experiencing so that the racist hetero normative patriarchy can succeed UN Human Rights WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO IGNORE US AS WE ARE EXPERIENCING ETHNIC CLEANSING FROM A DENIED HOLOCUAST IN OUR OWN LANDS WITH NO ACKNOWELDGEMENT, NO AID, NO RELIEF, ONLY APATHY?
