“Apparently there is a Death Star,” he said laughing. When I began to ask questions his laughter went away. He hadn’t realized the ramifications, that was my job that’s why he brought it to me. He was excited by the prospect of exploiting a weapon, I was terrified at the prospect of how the weapon would be exploited. It was 1982, I was 7 years old, it was the middle of the school day. He pulled me out of class with all the other children who were studying things like coding, scientific research, gaming, and climate change. He controlled what I learned, who I interacted with, what anyone and everyone were allowed to say or do around me, and every move I made. There isn’t a single aspect of my life that he did not control, not even in his last days. He simply used others to do the work for him since he could no longer do it himself. But I’m supposed to pretend none of this is real because traitors, extremists, corrupt leaders, and deviants want to protect their crimes against nature, humanity, the constitution, democracy, America, and more specifically marginalized populations globally, particularly Black, Native, Asian, Hispanic, disabled, and LGBTQ Americans? #GTFOH
