Poem

You said you didn’t know me

You said I’m crazy

You said I’m a liar

You said I know nothing

You worked with teams

To stalk, prey, torture

Try to kill me

You want to claim

MARITAL PRIVILEGES

WITHOUT BEING A HUSBAND

For real

Just in a contract

That keeps me enslaved

So you can steal, kill, destroy, be evil

You think you own me

But none of that is real

What’s real is that you “tangled” me

To a contract

For decades

You don’t want to let go

Because THIS

Is where you get your money

From me

Laughing at me

Keeping me from my own money

Or working

Or saving

Or even taking care of my kids

Just hovering, hoovering

Extracting

Obsessing

Draining me to death

Claiming I’m nothing

Clearly I’m everything

Without me you aren’t the same

Without me you can’t achieve as well

Without me you’re confused about

Everything

Without me you’re in need

But can’t fill your own cup

Or stand on your own two feet

So you seek

Objects to abuse

People to imprison

To feel

Through sadism

Power isn’t just a feeling

Just like love is more than that

Power is energy

When it’s mastered

A new frequency is created

A garden

A roadmap

Love doesn’t exist in abusive actions

The power is the choice

And I’m not your slave
