Why is it

That only the marginalized

Are forced to adapt

Why is it that wealth

Is the only indicator

Of what evolution is

Why is it that the elite

Can enslave

Attack

Abuse

Misuse

Misappropriate

Because they claim ALL things

Belong to them

And the marginalized

Are required

To fix what they leave broken

With little to no resources

Why are they allowed

To pillage

With impunity

While the planet suffers

Along with all humanity

Why does this makes sense

To anyone

Who has an ounce of common sense

I have lied about nothing

The truth is

I have only spoken of maybe 15% of it

I hold most things in

It’s embarrassing

How would you feel

Having been so tortured

And no one cared

So I keep most of it

To myself

How is it that this is acceptable

As the wealthy abscond

With the planets resources

Telling us it’s all fake

As we suffer and die

Torturously

Why does this make sense

To any human
