It Was Never About Boot Straps
Whole Picture Poetry — A New Trail Of Tears Installment
It was never about boot straps
We have to navigate mobs of hate
Discriminations in the workplace
Discrimination every place
We have to navigate corruption in politics
And the chaos it creates
We have to navigate, corruption, discrimination, and abuse
In school
Not to mention in the justice system
Who literally thrives on ensuring
We remain locked up within it
Our oppression is their paycheck
But they don’t want us to talk about it
Victim or perpetrator it matters not
ALL pay for the checks of those employed by the system
We have to escape
Constant state sanctioned attacks
Even at the hands of those paid to address the problems we face
We have to navigate the false claims of our
Projected pathology, criminality, lack of morality
According to those who benefit from our demise
We have to deal with attacks at home, even by landlords
Government owned or otherwise
When no one is held accountable
There is no incentive to stop the abuse
Or repair the destroyed lives
Healthcare is not for most
It’s only for those who “matter”
That’s never a Black life
So healthcare kills us faster than not acquiring it
Reporting on abuses gets you tortured even more
No matter what we do
Keep silent
Ask permission
Protest
March
Civil disobedience
Making our selves vocal
Writing
Posting on social media
(That is if we can)
No matter what we do we are always abused
Then mocked for saying it
As though it’s some kind of fantasy
Though all see it daily
Livestreamed
24/7/365
On repeat
Without interruption
Big Tech simultaneously making a fortune
From our abuse and oppression
While amplifying the hate that keeps life this way
They also claim
“We did no such thing
Systemic oppression isn’t true anyway”
But they are the system
And they are oppressing
They know when they tell the lie
It’s nowhere near any aspect of the truth
Yet they do it regardless
Along with spreading the false notions
That we harm ourselves
Because we don’t know how to function as a human
Yet we didn’t tank the planet
NO!
THAT’S WHAT YOU DID!
Ai deployed against us
Along with energy weapons
Even gas
Not just the pandemic
Anything and everything you can imagine
To wipe us from the planet
Tradecraft
Tweaked and re-tweaked daily to further abuse, misuse, kettle
Enslave
Yet reparations are out of the question
We’re not just talking about what you did hundreds of years ago
We’re talking about what you do now
What you have always done
What you have NEVER stopped doing UN Human Rights Amnesty International Human Rights Watch The White House Progressive Caucus
EVERY OTHER population
As well as special interests
Deemed more important than the lives of people
Experiencing ethnic cleansing
All within the nation we helped build
Off the backs of our blood sweat and tears
And generation after generation of our ancestors!
Yet racism is still called a “fake news”
How do you stomach being yourself
If I were you
I would be disgusted!
How can people uphold the lie that is white supremacy
Knowing when you kill off all the ones you hate
They will simply turn to the others
With whom they have always wanted to prey
Do you truly believe this predation has an end
Not unless you squash it
But you can’t do that when you make the monster your friend
Hiding their crimes
Colluding with them
Targeting their targets
Thinking it will save you in the end
I’ve spent a lot of time with extreme deviants
One thing they hate most of all
A fucking kiss ass!
They save you for last!
Good luck with that
I won’t make it easy for them
I will go down (if I must)
Kicking, screaming, fighting, and biting
Every step of the way
IDGAF if you like it
If what you thought mattered
Maybe you would have the balls to take a stand
For the human way of living
Not worshiping false idols, shiny things, and deviants
