It’s Time To Get Real
Because I’m not taking this!
It’s not difficult to recognize what work is mine, and what isn’t. You’ve been observing everything about me my entire life. You know how I speak, there was an entire scientific theory created around my communication skills, it even bares my name. I hadn’t even made it out of 4th grade yet. I wrote for the program my entire life, you recognize my signature, my patterns, my idiosyncratic ways. YOU CAN’T SAY YOU DON’T ME OR MY CREATIONS even if the evidence is buried, you STILL have the technology to find the patterns in speech and writing. Even if all you ever paid me was .1 on everything my creations ever earned, my family would forever be wealthy. Even if you started paying me, as of today, .1 on everything my creations are making now, my family would forever be wealthy. You don’t even have to disclose anything publicly, just pay me. You don’t even have to unredact my file, just pay me. You know what I ate today, the effect is has on my body, and the precise frequencies of my brainwaves at any given moment. BUT YOU CLAIM YOU CAN’T VERIFY MY IDENTITY? This is obviously a lie!
You have been surveilling me, 24/7/365 my entire life, both in person and technologically. You can NEVER claim you don’t know me or if anything I write belongs to me. YOU KNOW FOR A FACT WHAT I HAVE CREATED! You are literally, intentionally, keeping me impoverished and if I am not enslaved, what reason could you possibly have to ever do such a thing?
Honor my contract! There is no excuse for how I have been treated. There is no reason I should have to beg for anything, ever! There is no reason my creations should earn so much money, decade after decade, yet I am never able to access a penny of my own money! There is no reason that everything I have ever written, created, designed, choreographed, invented, and composed should earn so much money yet all credit and profits go directly to elite white men while I am forced to live impoverished with my children.
What excuse could you possibly have? I can’t even get COVID relief or SNAP benefits? This did not begin with COVID or BLM protests, this has gone on my entire life. What excuse could you possibly have? The idea that I am lying is beyond ridiculous, I know too much! I know things that no one would ever know unless they were there, or trained and cleared to access the intel. So, what excuse could you possibly have for treating me like I am the one who has committed such terrible human rights violations??? I don’t even have access to medical care or enough food to nourish my kids, but you label me a “threat”? For what? Why has it gone on my entire life? When will it end?
