Just A Picture

Ancestral Waters

My handler confronted me about a picture I posted. “DID YOU DO THIS?” It was a simple picture, normal in fact. It showed the side of my face and part of my neck. He didn’t like the fact that my neck was showing. “DON’T DO THAT!” I saw him angry constantly, but this was different. I didn’t understand this reaction. He was furious, emotional, and even finding it difficult to control his reaction. That didn’t happen often, not with me. He had total control because that was the only way HE felt comfortable. “Control isn’t that bad” I’ve heard so many abusers say. Yes, it is. He wanted to know my intention for posting the picture, “WHY DID YOU DO THIS?” It turned out he was angry because he thought I was trying to attract attention. Would that be a bad thing? Must I remain invisible my entire life? It was just a picture.
