WHAT REALLY HAPPENED
You lied
Repeatedly
You created hell for me and my children
Repeatedly
Unprovoked
All to hide YOUR actions
Your depravity
You're profiting from my exploitation
YOU HARMED ME
Not the other way around
I don’t have the ability to just move on
I have to fight wars you deployed
Put out the fires you started
Protect my family
While trying to heal
In the midst of the hell you raised
But you call that winning
I call it depravity
People aren’t interested in
Helping single, disabled, poor Black moms
With no support
I have to do it on my own
I always have
Don’t try to pathologize my defenses
You’ll only bring more back on self
You CONTINUE to hide the truth
Expecting me to be silent in the hell you raise
The slander you deploy
The evil you created
Unprovoked
All to escape accountability
Because you think you’re entitled to behave this way
YOU did all of this
To harm me
Because you feel you’re better than
You judge me
Gather others to abuse
Deploy all manner of tools
To use against me
Then make light at how I struggle
Under the attacks
You’ve harmed my family
In ways that won’t be reversed
Blamed me for your actions
Prevented me from doing anything to counter it
You surveilled me
You controlled my life
You abused me
You made it impossible for me to live
Move
Survive
Do anything
Then you slandered me for the outcomes
YOU CREATED
You STILL claim victim
You blamed me for things I never did
Told any and everyone who would listen
Benefiting from my oppression
You continue unrelenting
Deploying others to aid your sickness
Even while hiding the truth
As my children suffer
But I’m the one who’s a “threat”
