It’s so strange
to be in this place
After all these years
After all those tears
To think
That you still think
of me
Amazes me
in ways I’m sure
are full of mystique
Bringing up old feelings
thoughts and deeds
buried long ago
in the sea of reeds
Into the land of forgotten things
That’s where the demon
threw all my dreams
I had to claw my way out
Looking for light to shine
on the pathway
of this lonely highway
beneath the world subway
living in misery
I searched for signs
symbols
synchronicities
I found truth
in your words
Such commitment
What a man!
Where all fell
One remains
He who endures
to the end
is the One
who gains
the world
in his hand
A blessing
from above
for the most worthy
the most spiritual
A gift for the One
who prepared himself
showed his worth
The One who put ALL
above the few
and used his gifts
to enlighten those
lost and misused
His heart is pure
His intentions true
He reached my secret place
because he knew precisely
what to do
then he did it
Regardless of risk
Regardless of who said what
when, where, why, and how
He merely trusted the Most High
found truth and limitless sky
In all that we were
instructed to do
We never lost faith
Here we arrived
precisely where we set out to
Now
Onward and upward
let’s move forward
Let’s ensure our vision
becomes the new norm
