“Real Problems”
Help? In 46 years I have yet to find it.
I can’t count the number of times that I have reached out to mental health providers, health care professionals, social workers, case workers, non-profit programs, supportive service providers, and various other professionals and I was told “we just don’t have the services, we need to save it for people who have real problems”.
The worst part is being around so much wealth, watching it be transferred to the people doing all the abusing and never being held accountable. SOME victims gets help, it’s easy to dismiss the ones who are dehumanized into oblivion.
That’s the post.
I matter.
