The Only Thing That Changes Is The Lie
10/6/21 and I have yet to receive a penny of direct COVID cash relief, or disability income, or the payment of my contact. I still get hacked, my posts are still censored, I continue to be shadowbanned, and disconnected from the internet (my only connection to the outside world). All of the supportive services I had under long-term care during the lockdown have been removed. I haven’t had access to adequate health care in years. I have had to triage my own care, take care of my kids, and fight attacks from extremists on my own. UN Women
For the first time in years, I have been offered advocacy and potentially stable housing, but it’s still precarious. At least they are making an effort. Even public assistance like SNAP is difficult because they either ask for documents and don’t give me enough time to gather them, or they simply ignore my request for accommodations. They also simply terminate services at will and illegally because there is no oversight. All resources continue to be removed though I have no income at all and am totally, permanently, and fully disabled. I can’t even use telephones due to my disabilities. But I’m still told that it’s fake and treated like a scammer running some kind of scheme or fraud.
In America, “oversight” applies to people in need and no one else. We drown in it. Yet systemic oppression is still considered fake. Where is the #humanity ? Yet people wonder why we are hesitant to trust in a system designed to harm us? We're not even considered human.
There hasn’t been a single person held accountable for assaulting us, shooting at us, raping me, molesting me, beating me, trafficking me, stealing my identity, taking my genetic material, and interfering with my health care. In fact, we are the ones with all the court proceedings, fines, and fees. But people wonder why we are angry and having to resort to a public purge?
