Why Google ?
For the life of me I fail to comprehend why your algorithms suppress me so heavily. Particularly since it affects my survival. I’m glad you all are getting back to normal but for those of us in the margins, we don’t have that privilege. For people like myself, totally, permanently, and fully disabled, it’s always going to be more difficult for us to adapt. The fact that I am totally, permanently, and fully disabled because of service to my country matters to no one and that’s the saddest part. But it makes it that much harder when BIG TECH intentionally uses racist code, then denies that is racist, creates more racist code, denying that it also is racist, and targets marginalized populations during a denied genocide, a pandemic, and an economic depression. Your company is one of the greatest offenders in propagating negative Black stigmas, tropes, and stereotypes, an overwhelming amount of Black bodies, and constant violent imagery involving Black people. You also have successfully profiteered off of not only our suffering, trauma, and enslavement but also all around xenophobic propaganda, and just generally harmful content for society. Such things were regulated before the the internet and deregulation, yet the correlation for the demise of social “standards” is always pointed toward marginalized populations. Also the types of content you systematically promoted, while also suppressing the truth and anyone trying to tell it. In fact, I have NEVER had the ability to earn money on the internet, mostly because of your company. I have committed no offense, broken no laws, do no harm that would require such actions to be taken against me. Yet they have been. Like when I was banned for hate speech for talking about what others have said to me Twitter Public Policy
I don’t know why everyone only focuses on Facebook Design and ALMOST EVERY OTHER MAJOR SOCIAL MEDIA COMPANY allows racist, xenophobic, and dangerous content while simultaneously targeting people like myself as “divisive” and “dissidents”. Why? Say it out loud! UN Women As I have repeatedly said, I am unable to earn an income AND I am blocked from all types of aid including social security, yet my contract remains unpaid and I have to beg for food. Why? The White House Particularly since my father was treated the same way! U.S. Department of State When will Black American lives matter? UN Human Rights There hasn’t been a single generation free in my bloodline, but I’m wrong for talking about it publicly? America still has slaves and the world continues to turn a blind eye. Now that the U.S. has rejoined the security council, THERE ARE MORE WAYS TO HOLD THE U.S. ACCOUNTBLE! How can they point to human rights violations in other nations while systematically conducting ethnic cleansing of Black American descendent of slaves right here in or own country? While also systematically removing rights of women, children, the LGBTQI, and, Native persons for all of the America’s. America is by all means a fascist state, it always has been. Only now, they don’t pretend that Democracy is in power any longer. Because it’s not. But I’m wrong for pointing that out, though that is precisely what the U.S. government trained me to do? But MY mental stability is in question, not those of people who obviously see what is happening and freezing when they need to be taking the correct action at the most pivotal moment in human history in probably hundreds of thousands of years.
If I were a white woman I would be all over the news. If I were a White man I would be running an agency somewhere. The only reason I remain a hidden figure is because I am a Black woman yet the U.S. continues to claim America is free, equal, and just. Where???? We are suffering and dying at apocalyptic rates and the nation went “back to normal” because our suffering and death has always been promoted as “normal”. When will our life matter? When will we have human rights? So far, I can’t even get equal access to the internet, or health care. But I’m wrong for complaining?
